Somehow I managed to put my underwear on backwards this morning. I don't quite know how that happened. I must not have been all the awake as I was getting ready at the gym. I didn't notice until about midmorning, after all the water and tea had to be dealt with.

This must be a Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Dave Chappelle has checked himself into a South African mental hospital. This has put season 3 of his show on hold, which since I don't have cable, doesn't affect me so much.

But you can check out clips from the first two seasons of his show at Comedy Central. I can't stop laughing at the Wayne Brady one. "Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?" Classic.

Well, Marquette has changed their nickname to The Gold.

Now, I never went to Marquette. Didn't even really know all that much about them before I moved to Milwaukee and they were always the Golden Eagles as far as I knew. Then I found out they used to be the Warriors and changed their name back in 1994.

None of this really entered my consciousness until some pasty, old white guy offered Marquette $2 million to change their name back to the Warriors. That's a lot of cabbage.

That move came as a bit of surprise to everyone, since that guy just announced it during a commencement speech he was giving. And Margquette said no, we're going to keep what we've got, thanks all the same. They kept saying that too, right up until yesterday, when they announced the new name.

Bit of a clunker, if you ask me.

People around here are up in arms. The best response came from Dwayne Wade: "To the what?"

Doesn't matter to me. A Badger could kick a Gold's ass any day, no matter what name it goes under.

Okay, I've got to admit something. I'm kind of ashamed of this, but I'm just trying to increase acceptance of people with my problem.

I love that Burger King commercial with Hootie. You know the one I'm talking about.
