I've been thinking about the word 'asshat' lately. This probably means that I've been reading too much Fark. If you post at all on Fark, chances are someone will call you an asshat.
I decided to do a little digging and find out about the word asshat. Where did it come from? Who thought it up? Why am I thinking this much about the word asshat?
So after visting Google, I chanced upon this site. Ahh, a detailed, thorough explanation of the word. I could finally rest.
I prefer assclown anyway.

There are a lot of those quizzes out there that let you know who you are, personality-wise. You can find out what Star Wars character you are, or what Pink song you are.
That one was so ridiculous, I had to take it. Turns out I'm "Get This Party Started".

I will admit that I did influence that one a bit, since I didn't really want to end up being "Lonely Girl".
But back to matter at hand. When I take the Which Office Space Character Are You? quiz, I end up being Lawerence.

You are Lawrence.
You're pretty laid back. Just a few beers, a few
buddies and the breast exams on channel 9 are all
you need to feel content.
Which I think is pretty funny, because I pretty much looked like that in high school, minus the 'stache.
I took a different version of this quiz somewhere (I don't have the link handy) and ended up being Michael Bolton. And I didn't agree with that one at all. About the only thing we have in common
is a tendency to make empty threats about ripping off our employer and a fondness for the phrase "no talent assclown".
Alright, no more wandering.
Now the Which Fark Cliche Are You? quiz says I am the guy from Memento.

Something about this troubles me, because Lawrence and The Guy From Memento seem like opposites. I mean, can you be laid back and still searching for details? Something about it seemed off to me. So I went back, way back, and dug up my Meyer-Briggs personality test to see what was what. I'm an INTP. Broken down into its constituent parts that's Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving.
Basically, I live in my head. And what a wonderful place it is!
In the description of the INTP personality, I came across these two lines: They're very tolerant and flexible in most situations and They seek patterns and logical explanations. So it would seem that you can be laid back and still detailed. Score one for internet quizzes!
A little earlier in the description, you'll find:They are the "absent-minded professors", which should make my folks laugh, because that was their nickname for me when younger.
And then there was this line: The INTP is likely to be very shy when it comes to meeting new people. On the other hand, the INTP is very self-confident and gregarious around people they know well, or when discussing theories which they fully understand.
Yep, that's me.
And I think I need to show this to anyone I may date. Although I think I can sum it up like this: I will be a spaz, but a loveable one.

I ate six ice cream sandwiches today. I ate six yesterday.
It's been that kind of weekend.
Although, when I think about it, this should be cause to celebrate. A few years ago, what I refer to as 'the college years', all of those ice cream sandwiches would have been eaten in about an hour. And washed down with a box of Swiss Cake Rolls.
And sometimes I wonder how my weight got to over two bills.
